GRAY, Maine (AP) - The National Weather Service has upgraded its coastal flood advisory for Maine and New Hampshire to a flood warning.

The weather service in Gray, Maine, says coastal communities in York and Cumberland counties in Maine and in Rockingham County in New Hampshire are under a flood warning from 11 p.m. Sunday until 2 a.m. Monday.

Meteorologists say high astronomical tides combined with building seas will produce splash-over and minor coastal flooding.

High tide will occur at about midnight.
