MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - A small airplane crash in Montana sent one person to the hospital with neck and back pain.

KECI-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1VHUwbg ) that the plane crashed while landing at Ravalli County Airport in Hamilton on Sunday morning. The pilot and one passenger were uninjured. The second passenger was taken to a local emergency room.

The pilot was flying in from Idaho and didn’t report any mechanical problems.

The plane’s wing clipped the ground, causing it to flip and land on its top.

Ravalli County Undersheriff Steve Holton says he is thankful that no one was killed in the crash.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Traffic Safety Bureau are investigating.
