FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Police say 28 people were injured when a crowd of mostly teenage girls rushed toward the stage at a Dolan Twins show in New Jersey.

The popular 16-year-old brothers were appearing at iPlay America in Freehold Township on Saturday night.

Police Officer Daniel Rehberg tells the Asbury Park Press (https://on.app.com/1su0m4E ) the girls hyperventilated, some suffered ankle injuries and bloody noses. Seven people were hospitalized.

Police took the stage and told the crowd to settle down.

Grayson and Ethan Dolan resumed their performance.
