NEWMARKET, N.H. (AP) - Police in New Hampshire say a 52-year-old woman was killed in a single-car crash over the weekend.

WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1TR2fPG ) that it happened at the intersection of Route 108 and Lita Lane in Newmarket just after 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police say Angelia Stompf was driving north when her car veered across the road and hit a tree head-on. She was pronounced death at the scene.

Authorities are investigating.
