JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) - A sixth-grader’s artwork portraying a strong and healthy-looking breakfast is being displayed on a 23-foot meal-delivering truck after the boy won the grand prize in a national art contest.

The Jersey Journal reports (https://bit.ly/22OmMtL ) Aarush Desai learned on Tuesday at the Franklin L. Williams School in Jersey City that he’d won the nationwide “Healthy Breakfast for a Healthier Me!” art contest.

The contest - held by school meal provider Preferred Meal Systems - asked students to create art that promoted a healthy diet and lifestyle.

The boy was one of six winning students. His art is now displayed on one of the group’s delivery trucks.

Principal Edwin Rivera says he regularly talks about how talented his students are, and that it’s like an “exclamation point” when they achieve such accomplishments.
