STANLEY, N.D. (AP) - The state’s attorney in Mountrail County has been suspended from practicing law for 30 days.

The North Dakota Supreme Court ordered the suspension Monday, saying Wade Enget violated rules of professional conduct in the representation of a private practice client.

Enget will be on probation for six months following his suspension and also was ordered to pay more than $7,100 to cover the costs of the disciplinary proceeding.

Enget did not immediately respond to an Associated Press request for comment Wednesday.
