LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Angeles police say a woman was stabbed by her ex-boyfriend, who was immediately shot to death by her current boyfriend.

Officer Tony Im says the violence erupted Tuesday evening following an argument in a Koreatown parking garage.

Officers responding to reports of an assault found the man dead from a gunshot wound and the woman with stab wounds. She was hospitalized and is expected to recover.

Investigators say the woman and her ex-boyfriend were involved in a dispute and the man stabbed her. The woman’s current boyfriend was nearby and he shot the man.

City News Service says the shooter was questioned but not arrested.
