ST. ALBANS, Vt. (AP) - A woman, her boyfriend and his brother are accused of carrying out a home invasion in St. Albans that left a 67-year-old man in a hospital.

Authorities said Wednesday that 19-year-old Jashaun Justice and 28-year-old John Justice are charged with assault and robbery and burglary with a deadly weapon and 22-year-old Samantha Walker is charged with aiding in the commission of a burglary and assault and robbery. WCAX-TV reports they pleaded not guilty.

Investigators say the suspects, one carrying a handgun, burst into the victim’s apartment. Police say Walker had befriended the victim earlier.

Authorities say one of the suspects began hitting the victim and they demanded money. Money was taken from the victim’s pockets, and police say the perpetrators stole cash and prescription medication from his bedroom.
