LANCASTER, N.H. (AP) - Officials say crews have rescued a 56-year-old hiker who injured her ankle on Mount Washington in Lancaster.
WMTW-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1PKEHiP ) that it happened Tuesday morning on the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail.
Rescuers fought hurricane-force winds and low temperatures when they helped Kathleen Maguire of Antrim get off the mountain safely at around 4:30 p.m.
She was then taken to an ambulance. New Hampshire Fish and Game officials say she planned to seek medical attention in the Concord area.
