PHOENIX (AP) - A former Glendale elementary school physical education teacher has pleaded guilty in a sex case.

Maricopa County Superior Court officials say John Todorich changed his plea Wednesday as jury selection was beginning for his trial that was scheduled to start Monday.

Todorich pleaded guilty to three counts of luring a minor for sexual exploitation, transporting persons for purposes of prostitution, sexual conduct with a minor, child prostitution, attempt to commit child prostitution and attempt to commit luring a minor for sexual exploitation.

He’s scheduled to be sentenced on July 12.

Todorich was arrested in September 2012 and charged with 10 counts including child molestation, luring a minor for sexual exploitation and child prostitution.

He was 55 at the time and taught phys-ed at Arroyo Elementary School.
