NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a thief used a hammer to bash open an arcade game at a New York City laundromat so a second man could steal quarters while a third stood watch.

It happened Tuesday night in the Melrose section of the Bronx.

During the incident, one of the suspects threw a stool at a 46-year-old worker, cutting his ear.

The suspects fled with an undetermined amount of coins.

A video shows the man with the hammer smashing open the arcade game. Objects fly through the air.

The NYPD also has released photos of the three suspects. The one with the hammer had on a black ski mask.
