BAYTOWN, Texas (AP) - Police have arrested a suspect following the shooting of 18-year-old twins in a robbery at a Houston-area park that left one brother dead.

Baytown police say the surviving brother was shot several times but provided information leading to Thursday’s arrest of a 17-year-old suspect. A police statement didn’t say what charges the suspect, believed to be the gunman, was facing. A second suspect remains at large.

Police say Juan and Luis Huerta of Baytown were at a park Wednesday night for some type of transaction with two acquaintances. Police say one of the suspects flashed a gun, tried to rob the twins, opened fire and then fled with the other suspect.

Luis Huerta was killed. Police say Juan Huerta was hospitalized in stable condition.

Police didn’t immediately provide additional details.
