BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) - South Dakota State University’s new Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium will make its debut with a concert ahead of its first football game.

School officials say Luke Bryan will perform at the stadium on Thursday, Sept, 8, two days before the Jackrabbits take the field in the new venue against Drake University. Bryan is the Country Music Association’s and the Academy of Country Music’s Entertainer of the Year in 2015.

The Jacks Bash kickoff celebration is a joint effort by SDSU and South Dakota based First Premier Bank and Premier Bankcard.

Students will get to purchase tickets at a discounted price of $25 per seat. Season ticket holders can get tickets for $75, and limited number of $75 tickets for the general public will be offered.
