FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) - Christian Terrell scored 15 points, Marc Eddy Norelia recorded his 13th double-double of the season and No. 4 seed Florida Gulf Coast beat fifth-seeded Kennesaw State 74-64 Tuesday night in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic Sun tournament.

FGCU went on a 10-0 run early in the second half - with back-to-back 3-pointers by Terrell - to build a 52-41 lead. Kennesaw State pulled to 58-52 with 9:16 left but Zach Johnson’s steal and fast-break layup capped the Eagles’ 9-0 run and they led by double figures the rest of the way.

Johnson finished with 14 points for FGCU (18-13) while Eddy Norelia had 14 points and 12 rebounds. Terrell was perfect from 3-point range, hitting three of FGCU’s six from distance.

Yonel Brown led Kennesaw State (11-20) with 19 points and Kendrick Ray added 13.

FGCU will face regular-season champion North Florida (22-10) on Thursday in the semifinals.
