BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota Department of Health says it has been notified of an estimated 10,000-gallon gasoline leak near Alexander.

The department says the leak resulted from a structural failure of a 20,000 gallon underground storage tank at Patriot Fuels LLC. The leak occurred on Thursday.

Officials say initial estimates indicate approximately 10,000 gallons of premium gasoline were released. Health Department personnel are at the site and are continuing to monitor the situation.

The department sent out a news release about the leak on Tuesday.
