NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - A northern New Jersey woman has pleaded guilty to charges she sideswiped a car with an alleged drug dealer dangling off the side of her vehicle, knocking him off and killing the man.

NJ.com reports (https://bit.ly/1TNibVN ) 29-year-old Jessica Manno pleaded guilty Monday to leaving the scene of the crash that killed 28-year-old Anthony Gant.

Authorities say Manno visited Newark in September 2014 to buy drugs from Gant when the two got in an altercation. Manno says that Gant was standing on a step near the driver’s door when she tried to drive away.

Manno says she drove along a parked car and knocked Gant off the vehicle. She says she left the scene and didn’t call police.

She’s expected to be put on probation when she’s sentenced on April 25.
