ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a tree trimmer who died after falling from about 40 feet above the ground onto a wooden deck at an Ann Arbor home.

The Ann Arbor News reports (https://bit.ly/1nA0hcr ) 28-year-old Scott Alan Redding was working last week at a private residence when part of his climbing harness broke, causing him to fall. He was taken to a hospital and his obituary said he died March 1.

Redding worked for Ann Arbor-based Urban Foresters, which says Redding was ascending the tree to trim it at the time he fell.

The death is under investigation.
