The 23-7 roll call vote Thursday by which the Missouri Senate passed a proposed amendment to the Missouri Constitution that would prohibit government penalties against some business owners and individuals who cite a “sincere religious belief” while denying wedding-related services to same-sex couples.

Voting “yes” were 23 Republicans.

Voting “no” were seven Democrats.

Two senators were absent.
