The Houston Fire Department’s hazardous-materials team is at the scene of a suspicious-substance incident near the campaign headquarters of Sen. Ted Cruz.

The incident resulted in the evacuation of the Cruz headquarters.

According to the Houston Chronicle, the case involves a “suspicious substance in unknown container” and is on Greenway Plaza Drive, where the Cruz campaign has its headquarters.



The Chronicle reported that there were no injuries.

The FBI is involved in the investigation.

The office building also houses the Israeli consulate in Houston.
