PERRY, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says two people have been killed in separate auto crashes on the state’s roads.

The OHP says 63-year-old Connie Schones of Ponca City and 31-year-old John Reid of Del City died in the accidents on Thursday.

The OHP says Schones was killed when the car she was driving crossed the centerline of a roadway near Perry and struck the rear axle of an oncoming tractor trailer rig.

And the patrol reports that Reid died when the pickup truck he was driving on an interstate in Tulsa went off the roadway in a curve then went up a concrete embankment and struck a sign.
