WINDHAM, Maine (AP) - A 29-year-old Windham man has died from injuries suffered during a car crash in his hometown.

Police say Brent Muehle (MULE) was driving at about 10:15 p.m. on Thursday when his car left the road and crashed into trees, ejecting him. He was alone in the car at the time of the crash.

The Portland Press Herald (https://bit.ly/1P46Vhi ) reports Muehle was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland and died in the hospital on Friday morning.

Police say speed may have been a factor in the crash. They are reconstructing the accident and conducting an investigation.
