CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Acclaimed novelist Stephen King will be in Charleston a few days after his latest book is released, but it’s not clear where yet.

Media outlets report that King will visit on June 10 as part of his tour around the country to promote his new book “End of Watch,” set to be released on June 7. King’s visit to Charleston is being sponsored by Taylor Books on Capitol Street, but employee Dan Carlisle tells the Charleston Gazette-Mail (https://bit.ly/227Nspt) that King isn’t appearing at the store.

Carlisle says there were no more details available about King’s visit.

According to King’s website, “End of Watch” is a suspense novel following a retired police detective on the trail of his nemesis, a mass murderer who he believes will kill again.
