FLORENCE, Ala. (AP) - Crews plan to resume their search for two brothers who disappeared during a fishing trip last week on the Tennessee River in northwest Alabama.

Lauderdale County Emergency Management Agency Director George Grabryan says that searchers are hoping for better weather when boats launch Friday than on Thursday. The TimesDaily reports (bit.ly/1Rbb8r3) that the search was suspended Thursday afternoon due to high winds and rough water conditions.

Teams have been using sonar in an effort to locate 29-year-old Jeremiah Sanders and 24-year-old Jacob Sanders, who went fishing the morning of March 2 and haven’t been seen since.

Both men are from Florence. Jacob Sanders is a member of the popular regional band the Velcro Pygmies, and his older brother is the general manager of a restaurant in Florence.
