HOMER, Ga. (AP) - Authorities are looking for an inmate who escaped from the Banks County Jail.

Banks County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Sgt. Carissa McFaddin tells local media that 23-year-old Paul Dylan Gross fled the jail’s recreation area Thursday evening. He was being held on burglary, theft and obstruction charges.

Gross is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. McFaddin says Gross is possibly wearing a white T-shirt, orange pants and was last known to be shoe-less.

Anyone who makes contact with Gross is asked to call 911 immediately.
