OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - A Macy man has been sentenced to nearly three years in federal prison in the fatal stabbing of his brother.

Twenty-three-year-old Daniel Webster III received a 34-month sentence Thursday. He was also sentenced to three years of supervised release. Webster had pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of voluntary manslaughter.

Prosecutors say Webster stabbed 32-year-old Kristin Cayou on Aug. 28, 2014, after the two began to argue at a home on the Omaha Indian Reservation. An autopsy says Cayou was stabbed on the left side of his neck.
