PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - The city of Portland has released a video from a meeting where members of a commission tasked with helping Portland issue more contracts to women and minorities declared they had no confidence in the city.

The video of the Feb. 18 meeting wasn’t released until Wednesday in response to questions from The Oregonian (https://goo.gl/7bGsSm ). The decision to keep the video and written minutes from the meeting from the public was made by the commission’s chairman, Bryant Enge.

Commissioners can be seen on the video issuing a no-confidence vote against the city and calling out city leadership for not supporting their efforts.

February’s meeting comes after the commission complained to Mayor Charlie Hales of being left out of city discussions that fell under their mandate to improve equity in contracting.
