Comedian Sarah Silverman impersonated Adolf Hitler Thursday night on “Conan,” saying the recent comparisons to Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump really “bums” him out.

Ms. Silverman, who was born Jewish but considers herself secular, donned a Nazi uniform and fake Hitler mustache to make light of the purported similarities between the German dictator and Mr. Trump, THR reported.

“Wow, look at that! I have to say, that’s more applause than I expected,” Ms. Silverman said to the audience as she took a seat next to Conan O’Brien.

“Don’t get me wrong, Conan. I agree with a lot he says — a lot. Like 90 percent of what he says, I’m like, ‘this guy gets it,’” she said about Mr. Trump. “But I don’t like the way he says it. It’s crass.”

Mr. O’Brien joked that Mr. Trump is “very, very crass.”

“All these comparisons to Trump, it’s like, it bums me out. You know what I mean? Sometimes I watch him and I’m like, ‘Is that how people see me?’” Ms. Silverman lamented.

“I have to be honest. Trump, he’s starting to make me rethink some of the things I’ve done,” she said. “Ah, who am I kidding? I’ve gotta be me!”

Mr. Trump addressed the Hitler comparisons in an interview with “Good Morning America” earlier this week.

“I don’t know about the Hitler comparison. I hadn’t heard that, but it’s a terrible comparison,” he said. “I’m not happy about that, certainly.”
