TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Police are seeking a suspect who left five people wounded in a shooting in New Jersey’s capital city.

Police say the five were sitting outside an apartment building on Oliver Avenue in Trenton when the suspect opened fire around 2:30 a.m. Friday.

Trenton police Lt. Stephen Varn says that all of the victims are expected to recover. He says a 44-year-old man was shot in the chest, a 41-year-old man was shot in the back, a 24-year-old woman was hit in the shoulder, a 44-year-old woman was hit in the leg and a 22-year-old woman was grazed by a bullet.

Varn says that an argument involving several women took place before a man got out of a car and began shooting. He says that another person may also have been inside the car.
