KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) - A group of Klamath Falls residents are set to go to trial in April for what authorities describe as the torture of a female relative.

The Herald and News reports (https://is.gd/2DmWV7 ) that 56-year-old Florence Marie Raley, 50-year-old John Adam Raley, 24-year-old Melissa Ann Shanholtzer and 29-year-old Johnathon Sterling Martin are scheduled to stand trial April 20 on charges including first-degree kidnapping and second-degree assault for repeated attacks on the 63-year-old victim.

The victim told police Florence Raley, her caregiver, restrained her in a chair and beat her with a metal spoon. She said she was also sexually abused while restrained.

Police say they found blood splatter throughout the house and believe the abuse has been going on since May 2015.
