CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) - Fire investigators are looking into the cause of a Cedar Rapids strip mall restaurant fire.

Television station KCRG reports (https://bit.ly/1SICZy7 ) that the fire broke out early Saturday morning. Firefighters were called around 5 a.m. to the blaze at Jersey’s Pub and Grub. No one was in the restaurant at the time, and no one was injured.

The station reports that a passerby saw flames coming from the building’s roof and called 911.

When firefighters arrived, they didn’t see flames. But once they entered the building, they found smoke and a small fire near a kitchen stove.

Crews say building has suffered considerable damage.
