LISBON, Portugal (AP) - Sporting Lisbon kept the pressure on title rival Benfica with a 2-1 win Saturday at Estoril to take the provisional lead of the Portuguese league.

Islam Slimani scored both of Sporting’s goals, putting his team ahead in the fifth minute and adding a second just before halftime.

Leo Boatini pulled one back for Estoril in the 78th.

Sporting, which lost to Benfica last weekend, moved one point above Benfica before it hosts bottom side Tondela on Monday.

Jesus Corona scored with three minutes left to give FC Porto a 3-2 win over Uniao Madeira to remain four points behind Sporting in third.

Porto went ahead 2-0 on goals by Vincent Aboubakar and Hector Herrera before Uniao’s Danilo Dias scored twice to equalize.
