PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities have arrested a man wanted in a triple shooting in north Philadelphia three days into the new year that killed two men and critically injured a teenager.

Police said 19-year-old Ativa Jackson was taken into custody Thursday in the rear driveway of a northeast Philadelphia home. He faces charges of murder, criminal conspiracy and weapons offenses.

Officers called to the west Kensington neighborhood Jan. 3 found 47-year-old Richard DaVilla fatally wounded in the street. Twenty-one-year-old Raul Rodriguez was shot in the back of the head and died three days later. A 17-year-old youth shot in the face inside a home was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Court documents don’t list an attorney who could respond to the charges; a listed number for Jackson couldn’t be found Saturday.
