BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a man has died from injuries from a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 459 in Alabama.

Alabama State Troopers tells Al.com (https://bit.ly/1XnxrbB ) that 25-year-old Schylar Keath Reynolds Freeman was pronounced dead early Saturday at UAB Hospital. Freeman was a former basketball player at Birmingham-Southern College.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency tells multiple news outlets that the vehicle Freeman was driving collided with a car driven by 18-year-old Ryan Thomas Lisenba. Freeman’s car was then struck by a sports utility vehicle driven by 17-year-old boy.

Authorities say Lisenba and the 17-year-old boy were not injured.

Troopers are continuing to investigate.
