BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - KyJuan Johnson’s steal and coast-to-coast layup late in overtime secured a second consecutive state title for Minot, a 65-59 win over West Fargo at the North Dakota boys Class A basketball tournament.

Johnson stole the ball with 29 seconds left and dribbled the length of the court past three Packer defenders for the layup to take a four-point lead. West Fargo missed its last nine shots, as the Magicians ran off the last nine points of the game.

Jessie Roberts hit his fifth 3-pointer of the game two minutes prior, giving the Magicians (18-9) their second lead of the game. Roberts finished with a team-high 17 points and Johnson ended with 12 points,10 rebounds and three steals. Braydon Lund collected a team-high 14 points.

The Packers (23-4) were led by Ahmed Aden and Joe Pistorius with 18 points apiece. Creighton Pfau added 11 points and 13 rebounds and Tyson Jelinek grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds.
