LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - The history and other aspects of Superman and Batman will be discussed at Wednesday’s SciPop Talks! event in Lincoln.

Dan Claes is a professor in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Department of Physics and Astronomy, and he’ll explore the superheroes’ friendship, their powers and the weaknesses opponents might exploit.

The talk is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in the Adele Hall Learning Commons in Love Library North on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln main campus. The talk is free and open to the public.

The SciPop Talks! series builds on the science cafe model and is co-organized and sponsored by the UNL Chemistry Department, Doane College and the UNL Libraries. An online list of books and other resources for every talk can be found at https://unl.libguides.com/scipoptalks .
