GRANITE FALLS, Wash. (AP) - The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has named the three people who died in a crash on the Mountain Loop Highway near Granite Falls.

The Seattle Times reports (https://goo.gl/VK9BE2 ) 26-year-old Mikayla Mikesell of Marysville; 27-year-old Dawna Simmons of Granite Falls; and 31-year-old Jonathan Simmons of Granite Falls died Thursday.

The cause and manner of death for all three is pending.

A car was found Friday morning off the highway with all three inside.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office says the car was headed south when it veered across the double yellow line and came to a stop in the brush about 20 feet off the roadway.
