NORWOOD, Mass. (AP) - Authorities are investigating an early morning fatal shooting at a Norwood apartment complex.

The Norfolk district attorney’s office says the victim is 28 years old, but his name has not been released pending notification of family.

There have been no arrests, but District Attorney Michael Morrissey and Chief William Brooks III said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.

The death was the first homicide in town since 2008.
