SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) - Makiel Franco’s hot spring kept rolling Monday with two home runs and four RBI in the Philadelphia Phillies’ 8-7 loss to the Baltimore Orioles.

Franco, who leads the league with six home runs at home this spring, also has 14 RBI in 11 games.

He hit both home runs off Yovani Gallardo, who allowed three homers in 2 1/3 innings in his second start, including Tyler Goeddel’s home run to start the game.

Baltimore’s Manny Machado and Adam Jones both homered for the second time this spring. Paul Janish hit a two-run single in the bottom of the eighth to give the Orioles an 8-7 lead.

Alec Asher allowed four runs on four hits in three innings for the Phillies.
