GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - A Grand Forks woman has been charged with murder in the death of a man whose body was found in a vehicle at a truck stop in the city last week.

Northeast Central Judicial District Judge Lolita Romanick on Monday set a $500,000 bond for 31-year-old Krystal Feist. She was arrested Friday, hours after police found the body of 24-year-old Austin Forsman, also of Grand Forks.

Authorities say Feist drove to the truck stop and shot Forsman, who was sitting in the driver’s seat of another vehicle.

Feist is at the Grand Forks County Correctional Center. She requested court-appointed defense services Monday, but court records do not list an attorney who could comment on the case. She is scheduled to appear in court again April 18 for a preliminary hearing.
