LYNNWOOD, Wash. (AP) - Sheriff’s deputies are investigating reports that a young woman was kidnapped in Snohomish County.

Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Shari Ireton says two witnesses reported a possible kidnapping around 6 p.m. Monday near Lynnwood.

Witnesses say a woman in her mid-teens to early 20s was walking east along Larch Way when a blue Ford Explorer stopped. Witnesses told deputies the driver jumped out, grabbed the woman and shoved her into the vehicle.

The Explorer was last seen heading south on 28th Avenue.

The driver is described as a white, possibly Hispanic male, 5 foot 9 inches with a medium build wearing a dark gray beanie.

The female is described as having long blonde hair wearing a white jacket.
