LUDLOW, Mass. (AP) - Police have identified a suspect wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Ludlow last weekend, but say he remains on the loose.

Sgt. Daniel Valadas says a felony murder warrant has been issued for 20-year-old Jorge Concepcion-Pesquera, of Springfield.

Concepcion-Pesquera is suspected of fatally shooting the 26-year-old male victim outside the Open Door Cafe at about 12:45 a.m. Sunday. The victim was shot multiple times while sitting inside a vehicle.

The victim’s name has not been made public and police have not disclosed a possible.

It was the first homicide in Ludlow since 2007.

Police say Concepcion-Pesquera “is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.”
