WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) - Two Worcester men who pleaded guilty to charges in connection with an armed home invasion in 2014 are headed to prison.

The Telegram & Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/21uBeFf ) 22-year-old Devon Rivera and 21-year-old Nicholas Rossignol were each sentenced to five years in prison on Tuesday in Worcester Superior Court.

The men pleaded guilty to charges including armed assault in a dwelling and home invasion.

Prosecutors say Rivera and Rossignol carried out a planned home invasion and robbed several people at gunpoint in a Plum Street apartment on April 18, 2014.

Rivera was arrested after fleeing the scene. Rossignol was later identified by witnesses.
