ADA, Okla. (AP) - Family members have been unable to conduct video visits with inmates at a jail in Ada for about three weeks because of technology failures.

The Ada News (https://bit.ly/1SSHhmA ) reports that a computer problem has made the system for video visitations system at Pontotoc County Justice Center inoperable.

Pontotoc County Sheriff John Christian says a technician is working to solve the issue, but that he doesn’t have any idea when the system will be fixed.

Christian says the technician has ordered a few rounds of parts to fix the problem. If the latest part doesn’t solve the issue, it could take another month to order a completely new system. Christian estimates it would be several thousand dollars to replace the video system.
