YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) - Yakima police say they’re looking for a 33-year-old suspect in connection with a shooting at a motel.

Police said in a statement that investigators believe Gilbert “Eddie” Lundon was one of two men who confronted 41-year-old Richard Gossett at the Sunshine Motel Wednesday afternoon. Gossett was shot in the leg during the confrontation.

Police initially believed two people were shot. They now say the other person, a 46-year-old suspect, suffered stab wounds and was taken to a hospital where he is under guard.

That 46-year old Yakima suspect surrendered to SWAT team members following a brief standoff at an apartment complex Wednesday.
