KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) - A 22-year-old woman was killed in a weather-related crash near Columbia Falls.

Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Laramie Stefani tells KECI-TV (https://bit.ly/1VgGs7U ) that the woman was northbound on Secondary Highway 206 at about 7:30 a.m. Thursday when her car went off the right side of the road. The patrol says she overcorrected back onto the road and into the path of oncoming traffic.

A pickup truck struck the passenger side of the woman’s car. The victim was extricated from her car and was pronounced dead on arrival at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Stefani says the two people in the pickup truck suffered minor injuries.

The victim’s name and hometown have not been released.
