BRENTWOOD, N.H. (AP) - A New Hampshire man who authorities say burglarized two Stratham homes while on parole for a negligent homicide is headed back to prison.

Foster’s Daily Democrat reports (https://bit.ly/22oExU5 ) 27-year-old John Wentworth, of Dover, was sentenced Thursday in Brentwood to 2 to 6 additional years in prison.

Wentworth pleaded guilty in December to charges he burglarized two homes in Stratham while he was on parole for the beating death of Richard Nolette of Dover in 2008. He was sentenced in 2010 to up to seven years in prison as part of a plea deal.

Authorities say Wentworth fled after he was arraigned and released on bail last May on the burglary charges. He was apprehended in Lawrence, Massachusetts after a nearly two-week manhunt that involved several agencies.
