MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. (AP) - New Jersey’s mild winter is going out with a bang.

Forecasters are predicting a Nor’easter will pass through the region from Saturday night through Sunday night.

Snow is expected to begin falling in southern New Jersey late in the day Saturday. Northern New Jersey is expected to see snow after daybreak Sunday.

Precipitation will be a mix of snow and rain in southern areas and along the coast. The rest of the state will get snow.

The National Weather Service says to expect about 2 to 4 inches along and northwest of Interstate 95.

The snow will be heavy and wet and could be accompanied by wind gusts up to 35 mph on the coast and 25 mph elsewhere.
