LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Police say a man who was struck and killed on a Little Rock city street was from Oklahoma.

An Arkansas State Police report released Thursday says 38-year-old James Steven Dove of Duncan, Oklahoma, died after being struck by two vehicles, including one that left the scene in southwest Little Rock.

The report says Dove was walking across University Avenue on Tuesday when he was struck first by a sport utility vehicle. The report says Dove was knocked down, then struck by a Lexus and the driver did not stop.

Police say the weather was clear and the road dry at the time of the accident.
