TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a break-in and theft of a dog from the Humane Society of Southern Arizona’s main facility in Tucson.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department says the dog was stolen late the night of March 5 by a man who damaged a security camera and forced his way into the dog’s kennel.

The dog is described as a mostly brown year-old male Basenji (buh-SEHN’-dzee) mix weighing about 35 pounds.

The suspect was last seen wearing a baseball cap, camouflage pants, white shoes, a white t-shirt and glasses.
