JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - Grand Teton National Park is recruiting volunteers to help with construction and repairs over the summer.

The Jackson Hole News and Guide reports (https://bit.ly/22rEIdO ) that the new Grand Teton Hammer Corps program is looking for volunteers to help a few days to several weeks. Park officials say the corps formalizes volunteer programs that have been going on for years.

In the past, volunteers have helped with the stabilization of the Moulton Barn on Mormon Row and repairs at the Lucas Fabian homestead. Projects for the coming summer are still being planned.

The park is also looking for a long-term volunteer who can lead the work. Projects will begin in June and last through September.
